About Us

Colorado flag on a computer chip

The Colorado chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) is dedicated to fostering a strong, inclusive community of educators committed to advancing computer science education across the state. Our mission is to provide a space where teachers can connect, share resources, and support one another in bringing high-quality CS education to all students.

To ensure that educators across Colorado have a voice and access to meaningful professional connections, we are expanding our leadership team to include Regional Chairs from every major region in the state. Currently, we have representation from Metro, Pikes Peak, and North Central, but we are actively seeking passionate educators from other regions to join us. Regional Chairs play a crucial role in advocating for local needs, organizing professional development opportunities, and building strong networks of CS educators in their communities.  Click here to learn more about the responsibilities of our regional chairs.

Whether you are an experienced CS teacher, new to the field, or simply passionate about bringing computer science opportunities to more students, we invite you to be part of our growing community. Get involved, share your expertise, and help shape the future of CS education in Colorado!
