Colorado hosted its first Computer Science Conference for P-12 Educators! Jake Baskin was the morning Key Note Speaker for the Rocky Mountain Computer Science Conference for P-12 Educators (RockCS).
Adams 12 Five Star Schools and St. Vrain Valley School District partnered to host RockCS.
RockCS offered teachers the opportunity to attend 1, 2, or 3 hour sessions to learn about different computer science topics such as agile scrum, cryptology, computational thinking and robotics. Teachers had the opportunity to learn hands on skills they could use directly in their classroom.
